Hearing checkup for Sahrawi girls in Salamanca

Back to Projects

As part of the Vacations in Peaceprogram, our volunteer audiologists provide annual care to Sahrawi children hosted by Spanish families during the summer. Our team conducts hearing screenings for each of them with the goal of preventing, diagnosing, and addressing potential problems in time.
This project holds special meaning for us: it represents our commitment to vulnerable children and to hearing health as a foundation for holistic development. It is more than just a healthcare initiative—it is an act of dignity and care toward these children, many of whom lack access to regular screenings in their home regions.
With each check-up, we reinforce our mission to ensure that all children—no matter where they come from—have the opportunity to grow up hearing the world around them.
